Shipping policy

Not all items will ship from our location as many items on the website may be shipped to you straight from our vendors of which are in various locations. Please contact for any questions.

Ground and Truck Freight:

Our products range in size from small to large and require different shipping methods. We may use FedEx, UPS, or USPS to ship small to medium size parts. Large and/or products that are to heavy will be shipped via truck freight. The freight company used could vary. We reserves the right to ship by the carrier of our choice. Expedited shipping options on ground items are available for additional charges. More information further down.  

Truck freight rates could be higher or less depending on the products being ordered and its destination. It is usually best to contact us on truck freight, or excessive online shipping quotes, as there may be shipping discounts that are available to you. Residential shipments usually have additional charges added in. Please include a commercial business address whenever possible.

Whether your item will be used immediately or not, you MUST inspect the boxes immediately for damage. You, the receiver will need to open the box and inspect each piece and note any damages on the delivery ticket before the driver leaves. Failure to follow this procedure will result in loss of claim.

Overnight Delivery:

We can offer overnight service within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Rates depend on items ordered (weight, dimensions, etc), however, this is only an estimate. Actual shipping costs may vary because some items are charged at dimensional weight instead of actual weight. Actual freight costs are determined once the order is packed and ready for shipment. Simply call in your order before 12:00 p.m. EST, Mon. thru Fri. during regular business hours and your order will arrive on the next working day, excluding holidays and weekends (pending availability). A $9.95 rush fee will also be assessed in addition to all Air Freight charges.

Important: Air service does not guarantee that your order will arrive on the expected date of delivery. Under normal circumstances, air service is guaranteed. However, due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances, there may be delays. Classic Auto Restoration Parts is not responsible for delayed deliveries.

2 and 3 Day Delivery:

We offers 2 and 3 day service within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Rates depend on items ordered (weight, dimensions, etc), however, this is only an estimate. Actual shipping costs may vary because some items are charged at dimensional weight instead of actual weight. Actual freight costs are determined once the order is packed and ready for shipment. Simply call in your order before 12:00 p.m. EST, Mon. thru Fri. during regular business hours and your order will arrive on the second or third working day (depending on your selection), excluding holidays and weekends (pending availability). A $9.95 rush fee will also be assessed in addition to all Air Freight charges.

Non-Contiguous US:

All US territories outside of the contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, etc.) with orders must contact us prior to purchase and payment. Shipping rates depend on the items being ordered and available shipping to you. 

COD Orders:

We do not offer Cash On Delivery orders at this time.

Foreign Order Shipping Policy:

International orders are welcome. You must contact us for any international purchases. All international orders must be pre-paid before shipments can be sent. Due to shipping rate differences and depending on what items are being ordered, your fees will vary. Please list the items you would like to order so we can calculate the shipping cost for your order. Customs duties and import fees to your country will vary and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Check with your local customs office for more information.

Freight Damages

Truck freight items are insured by the trucking company that makes the delivery, not by Classic Auto Restoration Parts. If you find any of your freight damaged, you MUST have the driver note the damage on the delivery receipt. If the damage is severe, please refuse delivery and call us immediately, as we will take care of the claim and get you a replacement. If you find the item damaged after you have signed and accepted the item and the damage was not noted on the delivery receipt, Classic Auto Restoration Parts will not be able to help you with a claim. By signing the delivery receipt, you are certifying that you have received your shipment in good condition. If you ship to someone other than yourself, you must let them know to inspect the parts for any potential damage. If they sign the delivery receipt certifying that the item was in good condition when it arrived and you find any damage after the fact, we will not be able to help you with a claim. It is in your best interest to look at all parts before signing that they are good, regardless of the box condition.

The sheet metal you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections, which are considered normal sheet metal characteristics due to the nature of the product. Classic Auto Restoration Parts, nor any supplying vendors consider these minor imperfections as damaged. These items will be easily corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phase of your sheet metal installation. All sheet metal panels will require some sort of manipulation during installation. Test fit all parts before sanding, priming, or painting them. If we deem your parts defective, our responsibility is to replace the part, issue credit, or refund the original purchase price. We are not responsible for any paint or labor expenses. The credit or refund amount will not exceed the defective parts original purchase price.
